Auto BOdy SHop in Culver city
It is already the 21st century, but most cars are still priced in the tens of thousands, making it difficult for many to purchase one. There are ways around that, though. If you don’t mind compromising on power and luxury, several great automobiles are available for under $25,000.
We have used both new car pricing and current used car pricing to determine this list – the difference is that a new car will have a much steeper depreciation than a souped-up used model.
We have also focused on domestic vehicles since they tend to hold their value better and are often available at more affordable prices from dealer lots or private sellers. Of course, many foreign cars can be picked up for under $25,000.
That’s the beauty of the used car market; you don’t have to worry about depreciation or trade-ins if you buy a pre-owned ride.
What follows is our list of 10 vehicles that will set you back less than $25,000 (MSRP) brand new on dealer lots and auto repair services, as well as what they would cost at individual dealerships today after three years old.
We’ve included several models from both categories to estimate how much room is left in each budget.

Note: All pricing listed is for base models only.
